   I met up with some friends for midday brunch/lunch. The food was fine - two of us had the full English breakfast and one had the vegetarian roast. They'd run out of avocado so couldn't give us this as a side to our brunch - given we were the first customers on the day I suspect they just didn't order enough avocado that week. The food was pretty quick (again we were early customers and there weren't many ppl there so this is to be expected). The service wasn't great though - we were left to our own devices without being told whether we were meant to wait for table service or go to the bar. Once at the bar, the staff didn't stop their bar prep to serve us, which made us think we were in their way. Also, in regards to the avocado, it would've been appreciated if we'd been told upfront what was not available. Finally, I'd left a request to have a child seat when making the booking but the seat wasn't at our table when we arrived. We requested the seat on arrival and one was produced very quickly so this was more an indicator that the staff aren't really paying attention to our booking.

   I went with a friend and had the steak special it was delicious and the service was EXCELLENT !

   We had booked into The Belle Vue prior to taking part in MoonWalk 2017. The pub was very busy but the waiting staff were very attentive and polite and our meals came relatively quickly. The food was of a very good standard and of a generous amount. We would certainly recommend this pub to friends who may be in the area.

   Booked dinner at the Belle Vue with a friend, and had an enjoyable evening catching up - and celebrating her engagement! Good food, not over-priced, informal atmosphere and great service.

   Food was good. The people that served us were polite. Even when there was a mistake with my mum's order they were polite and happy to help. The only thing that put us off a bit was when one of the ladies serving us brought in a dog. As nice as she was we felt uncomfortable about the possibility of getting dog fur in the food; by accident of course. Also would like them to provide barbeque sauce. However I would happily go there and eat again.

   If I am honest, it was nice enough but not as nice as previous roasts I have had there which have been top notch. For example, the Yorkshire puddings were as flat as a pancake (though it was the Sunday before Shrove Tuesday, so maybe they were practising!)

   I booked a table at this restaurant after reading some positive reviews. I can say for sure that I would never dine here again. It is a great place to have a quick drink as its very central, however the food was inedible and they were so short staffed that I had to place my order for both food and drink at the bar. If it had been just a service issue I may not have bothered to write a review but the food was unacceptable. I ordered Rotisserie Chicken, this was reheated pieces of chicken which when reheated were so hard that it required a sharp knife to cut through the skin.

   Good atmosphere, lovely food and very friendly staff. Only issue was the very long time it took for our mains to arrive..
