Overall, it was 4/5 experience. (I got that boomer mindset about things being priced at things pre-Covid. And I say that that a young 30-something that lives in the burbs with 2 kids and a wife.) That part of Chicago is very much for young professionals who work 80 hrs week, but call me surprised when they made room for a party of 10 (8 adults and 2 babies); very young and hip place perfect for a date or friends outing or professional get together. The outside canopy is warm so don’t be afraid to eat there in the winter!

We had a wonderful experience at The Bellevue! It was my first time sitting upstairs, which was so lovely for girls night so we didn’t have to try to talk over music/other patrons. The food was divine, and I’ll absolutely be back.

We sat on the second floor and had a great time. Our table was ready right away. The service was excellent, they did a good job handling a dairy allergy. We liked that the manager came and checked in on us. We didn't have to wait long for anything.

Chef Russell has come in and turned this place around. Now one of the best places to get a steak in the city (had the ribeye this time) without breaking the bank like you do at the “other spots“. Pork secreto was another standout. Will return soon.

We stumbled upon Bellevue looking for appetizers and drinks and were pleasantly surprised, so we made dinner reservations. The drinks and appetizers were great and innovative, dinner was good, and we were seated in the enclosed patio which as very nice and kept warm for December in Chicago.

I had the salad with blueberries, cranberries, pistachios, etc. It was simply wonderful!!! We split the chocolate chip cookie in the pan with ice cream-what could be bad? Service was just ok to fair and it wasn't busy at all. We will definitely come back!

I found the service lacking. We were seated and then they forgot about us except fpr water. Finally, I flagged someone and he was grumpy. We placed our order for drinks and food. Drinks came after salad and was incomplete. Food was good but greasy. Ambiance was nice and festive
