    It was our first time at the Birley Arms anfter recently moving to the anrea and we enjoyed the experience. The choice on the menu was very good, with vegetarian options too. The staff were very attentive and the quality of food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again in the near future. Thank you to all the staff. Ian & Nina.

    Over priced, small portion that wasn’t very tasty. The sausage in the mixed grill was inedible it was so hard. I won’t be returning. Best bit of the meal was the onion rings.

    Was very noisy as there was 2 groups in so made it hard to talk to one another, asked for restaurant on booking and was put in the conservatory ,. Slow service waited 45mins at least . Found desserts pricey and dissapointing. Main meal was great. Would go again but maybe not in the evening. Wasn't a relaxing evening maybe just unlucky with the groups they had in.

    From booking which was very easy to being seated by friendly service was quick and efficient. The food we had was lovely and tasty and value for money. We will definitely be back

    Lovely place but need to up their game with the quality of food & wine if they are to compete with other pubs in the area, for example The Ship.

    Food was really good (Fish and Chips), very tasty. The pub has been worked on as it really does look nice. My only gripe would be the very small gravy for £2.50 extra which I though spoilt it a little.
