Welcome to the Black Bull.
Tucked away in rural Lancashire, between cloud topped hills, green fields, rolling pastures, and lots of cows... sits The Black Bull Inn.
Nestled in the picturesque village of Old Langho, our stone building has been here since the 1500s. Steeped in history it has it's own warm welcome to travellers from far and wide.
Our menu is fresh, local and has a nice balance of those "pub classics" but brought up to date in modern and inventive ways.
Dog friendly in the bar area or garden, and plenty of cosy seating available in front of our roaring fires, in The Library, or in our gorgeous, beamed, renovated Fire Barn.

    Great food in a cozy atmosphere. The only downside is that there isn't very much parking area available and so it's possible that you may need to park further along the road.

    Ordered the shared Sunday Dinner and wasn't disappointed. Meat (beef and lamb) was perfectly cooked, although a little more on the sharing plate would have been preferred. Service, as always, was first class and added to a most pleasant afternoon Dinner

    Delicious! Fabulous atmosphere and wonderful welcome and service. Food was yummy would highly recommend. And even managed a takeaway box for Daisy my dog!

    Lovely pub and fabulous Sunday lunch,we had a lovely afternoon and will revisit without a thought. Staff are polite and very friendly.

    Perfect place for a delicious meal and ambiance. The decor is amazing and the fire places wonderful on a cold day. Mu lamb Sunday roast is one of the best I've had in years.

    Great Sunday lunch offerings at a very reasonable price for the quality of food provided! Staff were attentive and service was prompt. Would definitely recommend and return!

    Tried the Sunday roast sharing board for 2, we really struggled to find the beef & lamb. 2 small slices of each included, expected much better for the price they charge.

    Lovely pub food, classic dishes, and some surprises and specials. All meals came perfectly cooked, and service was attentive but discreet. Beautiful country pub with roaring log fires. Will definitely be returning.
