   Visited on a Sunday afternoon as a party of 3 plus 2 dogs. Carvery was outstanding, hot and plentiful. Staff super attentive and extra stars for the attention shown to the dogs. If the pooches are happy, we're happy

   Second visit in less than a week, Sunday carvery , and Angus burger with blue cheese . Couldn’t taste the the cheese and the was burger was grey and rubbery. Obviously over defrosted. We will not be returning.

   A great well maintained bedroom, clean as a pin, well serviced with a great shower. All you need in a room especially when it is so tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff were very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the evening was fantastic! All in all a great overnight stay that we highly recommend.

   The service was slow, due to the fact (which was later explained, the young helpers could not take orders). Disappointing as food and hostess were fab. But to wait 20 mins for otder is not great
