   A lovely afternoon for a pub lunch with friends. We sat outside and enjoyed good service. We mostly went for the daily specials which were excellent value, were a little different from the usual pub fare, and tasted really good. We recommend The Boot as a place well worth a visit.

   Had a lovely meal with the hubby! Evie was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us. The service was fantastic! The scallops starter was beautiful and so was the sea bass! Will definitely go back!

   Great roast dinner with ample portions. Could maybe suggest what might be smaller options for younger or older members of a group.

   Had a lovely lunch on Good Friday. Service was good and food delicious. The broccoli salad was delicious. Waitresses were busy but attentive. Would recommend.

   Mother’s Day meal was a miss I’m afraid…. Our starters were cold, and one of our son’s was missed, as was his main when the rest of ours came out. Big portions for dinner but the flavour was just lacking. One point of comedy/could have been worse was me noticing something hit the floor by my table, thinking to myself that it looked like a finger nail. Shortly thereafter, a very panicked waitress came by checking to see if her lost false nail had landed in anyone’s food. I was at least able to let her know of its location.

   Food was superb, Service was great too. Beautiful pub, had a nice seat in the restaurant and stayed for the Bingo too which was great fun, will certainly be returning in near future.
