   Memorable birthday lunch on a sunny spring day. A hot, crisp home-made bread round, glazed with parsley butter seeping down into a soft centre, set the tone. Perfect, fresh sole and cod followed, each wirh a small pan of warm meuniere sauce - the cod's with some caviare folded in. The lemon sole was hand filleted and the cod seared and cooked through, with tasty mini veg - parsnip, leek, endive, potato. Square-cut, deep fried chips and a bottle of sauvignon blanc and helpful, friendly service added up to a great meal. Every drop of sauce was mopped up with the remaining bread! Our two desserts were equally delightful - one a warm pear tartlet with piped ice cream and the other a raspberry meringue pavlova.

   Lovely Sunday Roast. Great service. Delicious roast beef, super dog friendly and we will definitely return.

   Food was outstanding, really enjoyed all 3 courses. Choice of wine was great. We loved it and are keen to return in the near future!

   Honestly, haven’t had a better roast dinner in all my life. The team at the bridge arms are wonderful and can’t do enough to make sure your experience is perfect.

   Incredible roast, one of the best we’ve had. Rich flavours and great meat. Slight issue with service being a bit slow to start and meat coming out pink despite asking for well done twice for pregnancy reasons but overall great dining experience and would return.

   The food demonstrated the kitchen has a great understanding of cooking, how food should be cooked and presented. A meal of very high quality.

    Great food, (standouts were the oysters and the pig cheek), friendly staff and a good wine list.
