The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful but they have a lot of opening kinks to work out. Our server was delightful however it took over 1.5 hours to get our food. Our kids had a very hard time waiting. The restaurant was not very busy and we sat at 5pm. After spending so much on a meal I was disappointed by discovering there was no toilet paper in any of the bathroom stalls and no more paper towels at the end of the meal. We spoke to a manager about it but still nothing 10 minutes later. I was really excited about this place but I’m not sure I will come back. Hopefully the experience improves.

The Cake Bake Shop is a beautifully decorated restaurant. It’s very fancy. The food was good, but I do feel expensive for what you are getting. The Ham quiche was very creamy, burgers delicious. The cake was also very good, not too sweet. Drinks are way over priced. Kids are given a beautiful coloring sheet with collected pencils. They sprinkle edible glitter on everything. Great place to celebrate something special. I say try it at least once.

Let me start off by saying they have only been open for 3 weeks. They still have some time to improve. The food was tasty but way overpriced. The decor was amazing. They had us wait 20 minutes after our reservation time for a small table next to the hostess stand which was available the whole time. I know this because while waiting for a table we sat outside and the beautiful bay windows were open, so I looked in and counted the open tables and we both felt we got the worst possible table. I have addressed it since then with the manager. We ordered a you pick two with a half chicken salad sandwich and French onion soup served with arugula. My boyfriend ordered the croque missiour with an additional charge for pom fries instead of arugula.

My table was at the bar, it would have been more peaceful in the other room, they take parties the long way to their table which created extra movement going by. Salmon was outstanding.

Very excited to try this. We had a slow start but it turned out okay. Reservation was at 12 but we weren’t seated until 12:20. No server, no water, no greeting until we asked for service at 12:35. Our server was nice and competent from that point but we weren’t impressed off the bat. The upside was the food, it was excellent. It’s expensive but we knew that going in. My son has several food allergies and we had no issues. The restaurant is beautiful.

We went for breakfast and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We tried the Orange French Toast, Ham and cheese quiche, blueberry crimb cake, fruit platter and eggs your way breakfast. All of it was very yummy. The restaurant is just gorgeous and we enjoyed a windows overlooking the Boardwalk. We enjoyed it so much we are going back for dinner.
