The Cavalier is a London-inspired brasserie, located adjacent to Hotel Zetta in San Francisco's SoMA neighborhood. The upscale British influenced restaurant is brought to you by Executive Chef Jennifer Puccio, managing partner James Nicholas, and award winning San Francisco designer, Ken Fulk. The 135-seat restaurant is divided into four unique, intimate spaces: the Blue Bar, Main Dining Room, Wine Stables, and Rail Car. The interior is designed with deep leather banquettes, polished brass, zinc and white marble, lending a posh and sultry feel.

We loved the lamb ribs and the mushroom gnocchi. My server was excellent and her barbera suggestion was perfect for my beef tartare. This was my first time there in a few years and I’m so glad I made it back. The space is beautiful and location is perfect for me coming from the east bay because it’s so close to BART. I won’t be waiting so long to return this time

LOVE the ambiance, food and service! Lamb chops were amazing, as was the creamed spinach. Killer mezcal margaritas!! Glad we dined early, as noise level gets a bit intense, requiring need to talk at high volumes to be heard over the din.

Thought this place was great. Good service, flexible with our large group, appropriate sized portions. Not cheap but not over priced, great for a celebratory birthday dinner.

Had a wonderful dinner last night. Even though the holiday parties were filling the restaurant, the service was great and the staff was on top of everything. Everyone is friendly and the food does not disappoint.

Only complaint was it seemed every food item was overly salty but I still loved the flavor despite it Would definitely come back

I enjoyed our dinner. My wife had the salmon and I had the pork chop. The Cavalier salad was also very good. Wines by the glass were average.
