At the Cheese Lounge, we want to show you how best to enjoy our cheese: paired with the perfect wine and shared with great company. Warm and relaxed, the Cheese Lounge is the perfect place for lunch, dinner, or even to just enjoy a good glass of wine.
Every Wednesday evening we host a wine and cheese tasting event led by our wonderful team, tickets can be purchased via the events section on our website.

A lovely experience at The Cheese Lounge, staff engaging, knowledgeable and kind. We did not want it to end! Shame it closed at 8pm ! We weren't aware of this at booking. However we understand it is a long day in the shop, we will return thanks again for a lovely evening of cheese and wine. Gillian

If you want to eat wonderful cheeses washed down with lovely wine then you may want to stop off at Melissa Cheese Lounge in Edinburgh - lovely setting, lovely staff, great experience

Lovely lunch treat. Amongst 3 we shared a bottle of wine, a cheese platter and small plate of meats. Good value.

Lovely experience . We had a cheese platter, scotch egg and wine. Excellent server who explained the origin of all the cheeses. We were first in the lounge which was a little cold but soon warmed up once the heater was on. Well worth a visit

Try all the cheeses, they are amazing. Also try the Chin chin white wine.

The food and wine were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and informative. It was a very quiet Sunday lunchtime. Only one other party were present and in a room of tiled surfaces, sound travels hence the rating for ambience.

Cheese lounge is a must for cheese lovers. A cosy area at the back of Melli cheese shop in morningside. Where you can enjoy delicious cheese and or charcuterie served with bread and oatcakes. Their scotch eggs are also very tasty and there is a variety. There is music playing for atmosphere but not to loud so you can have a conversation. It’s is a nice treat for the afternoon and you certainly don’t need much of an evening meal when you get home. Mind we had scotch eggs and a cheese board for 2. The only down side for us was their website is out of date and they no longer do soup which was delicious in the past
