Firstly, to get up to the floor leave the bar is situated on, you need to contact the bar and they come and get you. This wasn’t communicated prior and after several minutes of stuffing around with the elevator, we had to ask for assistance from a hotel manager who informed us we had to call the bar. The atmosphere was nothing like the website showed off, the seating was uncomfortable, dirty and they placed most people in one corner rather than space them out causing each group to be uncomfortably loud so they could hear each other. The venue wasn’t overly clean, the drinks menu had little offerings for such an establishment and no available menu for snacks or food. The background music choice wasn’t great either with outdated random pop songs that didn’t set a good tone in the venue.

Amazing service! Delicious cocktails! Incredible recommendations. A special shout out to Eden and the two James’. The Cloakroom Bar is easily South banks best kept secret.

I cannot praise Cloakroom Bar highly enough. All the warmth of the best dive bar, but in the surroundings of a lush cocktail bar. All the staff are incredibly knowledgable, to the point of being Mixology Magicians. The house specialty cocktails are delicious and perfectly made, and staff make tweaks to personal taste that raise the bar even higher. The lighting and decor are gorgeous, I love hte option of being a bar fly, but the reserved seating is great if you're catching up in a more intimate mode. Don't get me started on the view. I literally visited 3 nights in a row because I couldn't get enough. My only critique is the inability to leave a tip via the EFTPOS machine, because the staff are worth their weight in gold. Can't wait for my next visit, as soon as I'm back in Melbourne.

Love this place. Only thing a could fault is the under whelming glasses the cocktails are served in. Why not fancy ? Suits the place
