Just poor service. Waited 1.5hrs for any semblance of food. Couple of reminders every half hour, and we certainly weren't the only ones. Some were more boisterous and others just walked out. I know there can be mistakes made, but once these are pointed out, surely it's not that hard to put them right. And on a set menu on Valentine's Day. Pretty much spoilt the night.

Amazing restaurant! The curries were absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. I especially loved the new house special. I've already booked a table for Valentine's Day. Can't wait to be back!

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We arrived during their happy hour, from 5 to 7 PM, and got to try their in-house specialty cocktail, the Spice Sutra, which was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was clean, well-maintained, and enhanced by the subtle sounds of Hindi Bollywood music playing in the background. We chose the cozy setting of the Colonial to catch up with old friends, and the food did not disappoint. The curries, including the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh, were rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the soft, freshly made naan. Everything was served promptly and at the right temperature. The service was excellent—timely, attentive, and friendly, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and memorable dining experience.

The food tasted truly terrible and half the dishes were not remotely as described. Some dishes not available. Huge wait time. Deliveroo and Uber drivers constantly bustling in and out. Amenities such as soap and toilet paper non-existent. Bar license expired, so no alcohol. Every aspect was egregious. The server who was working alone did a good job but the situation was beyond her control.

This has to be up there with one of the worst dining experiences ever, The food is far from ‘British Indian’ the curries all tasted the same, which were also far from nice, We asked for medium and it couldn’t be any hotter if they tried. The staff are absolutely useless, they forgot drinks, food and when we complained just stared at us and walked off. There was about 8 Uber drivers in the restaurant watching us eat which I find disgraceful, a huge line of angry customers also lined up as they obviously had missing food also. This place is taking peoples money and delivering an utter disgrace of a service, I highly recommend people do NOT visit this place. Absolute disgrace they need to hang their head in shame.
