Once again the kitchen excelled. Food was excellent with great presentation and flavours.
The student service needs work. It is hard to be critical of the students as they are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The standard of service does however, needs a lot of work. I believe some if not all of those serving were coming to the end of their first year of the Diploma. The service quality reflects only a few weeks of service training at best.
Filling waters and tapping the bottle in the edge of the glass while doing so, holding the glass each time to refill, spilling water and leaving the table wet.
Food service seemed to lack confidence. I had a dirty knife (lack of attention to detail) and glasses were not set to the right. No food was delivered from the right of the customers unless it was convenient due to table positions. Improvement in the food and beverage service needs a focus.
We will be back as we want to continue to support the student’s learning. I trust the honest feedback continues to assist the quality of training.
