   The vegetarian choice was good, food excellent very hot, plenty of it and the service was lovely. The meat option was also very good. So nice to have really hot food. We had a sharing pudding which was ample and very delicious. The service was wonderful. I had a very nice glass of wine. The atmosphere is very nice and the noise level was perfect.

   Very tasty food, we had prawn cocktails, lasagne, ham hock and chicken pie, crumble and sticky toffee. All freshly cooked and good sized portions. Cosy dining area with log fire. You order at the bar but this means you don't feel rushed

   brilliant have been dreaming about the sunday lunches here for two years, so glad to visit again!! we brought the kids this time would be nice to have some blank paper and crayons for distraction purposes, or a family dining room.

   Wonderful pub, aspiring to net zero waste and with a Pride night advertised, excellent frittata in the restaurant and a very entertaining server: all great!

   We had Sunday Roast dinners. Last year it was wonderful but on Sunday the beef was so rare it was barely cooked, the vegetables looked to be from a pack of frozen veg. The roasted parsnips and potatoes were lovely. But the Yorkshire puddings were not home made, they were bought ones. The waitress never came over to check and ask if everything was OK as is normal practice. We were very disappointed as a year ago it was exceptional. Maybe there is a new chef? It's a shame as we were planning on eating there again this week but we will try somewhere else.

   It was like a scene from Faulty Towers - sadly my husband’s birthday so ruined his celebrations. Ordered roast - turkey on menu told it was chicken. 30 minutes later told no beef so ordered pork. 45 minutes later told one chicken so said ordered pork. One hour later told no pork and one chicken 🙄 Ordered 3 pies and one chicken. Told ready to serve - one hour 15 minutes later told a bit of a delay but no one else waiting for food. Customers who came after us were being served the roast dinners we were told weren’t available. Asked to speak to manager - he wouldn’t speak to us - told would be out in 10 minutes??? We left with hungry bellies. Worth noting waitress and bar man were very apologetic but still an awful experience and will never go back.
