The Dickens is a “one-stop shop” as Hell’s Kitchen’s biggest Broadway Cocktail Bar. A literary-themed multiplex now open for dinner, drinks and dancing. Operated and owned by Vida Verde and PMac’s Hospitality alum Bryan Hannon, The Dickens, on 8th Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets, boasts six different spaces to grab a cocktail, including a first floor cocktail bar and restaurant; low-key hangout The Genie’s Lounge; moody, stylish party venue at the whiskey-themed Studio Bar; The 3D Bar & Lounge; and a top-notch rooftop.

Bottomless Drag Bingo Brunch

Join Jacklynn Hyde every Saturday & Sunday in The Dickens for Bottomless Drag Bingo Brunch at 1pm & 3pm. This 90-min show brings comedy, musical numbers, prizes, mouthwatering food & bottomless drinks all together for an experience you won't forget! With the purchase of a Brunch Entree, you can add bottomless mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys, frozen drinks & highnoons for 90 minutes for only $25. Please note if you are booking for our Saturday or Sunday 1pm or 3pm Bingo Brunch, seatings and show time are strictly for 90 minutes after which you must move to the bar area. We recommend arriving 15 min early. You will not be seated without your whole party. If you are taking part in the Bottomless Option the entire table must participate.

The best thing i can say about this place is i never have to go back !! Zero out of ten … too many notes to mention … I will take the L on considering this as an option. Ugh

I like this place for the drinks. The rooftop is super fun in the summer so I decided to give it a try for dinner. I ordered the southwest chicken salad. The price was $19.95. I expected an "entree" size salad, what showed up was small side salad. I also asked the server to not have olives in the salad, he forgot (totally normal) but annoying nonetheless. We went here as a pre-show dinner, it was very loud and busy, feels like more of a Happy Hour spot instead of a dinner spot. Overall, I would not choose this place for dinner. We ended up ordering small plates after our salads because we were still hungry, and they were good.

Our first time to The Dickens and a real fun experience.! Food , cocktails and service were all great. High energy place, especially during drag brunch bingo!

Food was delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Ambience was fantastic and the music was excellent. Great crowd. A bit noisy but didn't mind it at all.

Everything was great except there were too many people in the bar area so they were very close to my table. Plus servers had to carry food over our heads to get by due to the crowds. But other than that it was a good experience.
