                                                                                                  My husband and I had a date night at The District. It has a wonderful atmosphere and everyone was very nice. The food was excellent. We had oysters, steak and my favorite are their Brussel sprouts. The steak was the best ever.

                                                                                                  I made a reservation several weeks ago and was looking forward after dinner to going upstairs and listening to music, only to discover that upstairs was closed for a private party. A real disappointment.

                                                                                                  The food was served in the most timely manner and our server Daniel did an excellent job. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the only thing that went wrong was that there were four young girls sitting at the table behind us that were extremely loud and kept bumping the back of my seat. So a lesson to all be mindful of others around you !
