Excellent service, but the food was poor. Chicken burger had no taste and the fish & chips was very dry.

This was our second visit within three days and was a disappointment compared to the first! Our table was right next to the bar with people standing very close to our table, I appreciate that the pub needs to get as many covers as possible but diners really are crammed in. The service was quick and efficient but not particularly friendly, completely different to our first visit. I’m not particularly fussy - but the hummus was completely tasteless, I didn’t eat it and only got a ‘I’ll tell the kitchen’ response. My wife had soup which was excellent. My beef burger was good. The other main course was fish stew which was strongly tomato/onion based but tasty. When we paid the hummus was mentioned again but we only got the same response as before. Overall, it was ok and we know it can be excellent, it just lacked something on this occasion.

The Dun Cow is my Wife’s first choice for her birthday and the team never disappoints. Cool service from the friendly team. Excellent food and a happy vibe make the trip each year memorable for us both. First class.

Food was beautifully executed and imaginative. Lovely locals, attentive service and good value without compromising on standard of care. Loved the festive decorations, lights and roaring fire.

Very friendly, family pub which we used whilst on holiday. Really enjoyed the menu and service and there's a good selection of beers.

We visited the Dun Cow for a lovely lunch a few years ago and were keen to return, however sadly it has changed. The food was nice but the service was rushed and abrupt and the staff were not particular friendly.

From the warm and friendly welcome as we arrived and throughout the whole experience we were well looked after. The food was well cooked and very tasty and excellent value for money and we look forward to returning when we are North Norfolk way in future
