The Fish House is Burleigh Heads most famous Seafood Restaurant, continuing to improve all aspects of its service, food and giving customers the ultimate experience with providing the freshness/quality food and cooked to serve in its simplest form flown in fresh from suppliers all around Australia.
The menu changes daily according to the selection of the freshest and best quality seafood that Australia’s suppliers supply depending on sustainability, the seasonal selection and daily weather conditions which provides us with the optimal quality for each seafood menu offering.
With over 25 wines available by the glass, our Menu of the Day offers a sequence of Wine accompaniments from all over the globe, at various price points.

Outstanding service, excellent food! The only food someone didn’t enjoy was the Moreton Bay Bugs, they didn’t enjoy the gravy/sauce that went with the bugs other then that the food was amazing. We loved how accommodating they where to gluten free and lactose intolerance on the table. The ambiance was perfect, this is the best restaurant on the Gold Coast will recommend to everyone.

Fantastic service and food outstanding. Wine list extensive and has a lot of Australian wines. Cant beat the prawn cocktail and the Patagonian toothfish.

The service was excellent. The food was generally good, but overly salty, especially the dressing on the salad leaves and sea salt flakes on the crumbed fish was unnecessary. Best to ask guests if they want a garnish of sea salt flakes before applying it to dishes. The Patagonian Toothfish was dominated by the marinade. It was too tasty really and hard to tell what the fish really tasted like, although texture was perfect. Bread was a standout and the side dishes were generous. Parking was very difficult for a weekend lunch.

All staff went out of their way to wish my lovely wife a happy birthday which was the reason for dining there. The dinner of mussels and the Patagonian Tooth fish was definitely one of the best sea food dinners I have ever tried. The staff were happy for us to share our meal by providing seperate plates for each of us and serving our meal sequentially. Nice touch. Staff were very attentive to see that our water glasses were never empty. All in all an excellent dining experience.

One of the best places I have ever been to for fish dishes. If you love fish then you must try this place. Service was great and the food was reasonably priced for fish dishes. Not cheap but not expensive as well given we had so much fish.

Great food as always. Pleasant and attentive service with a delightful sense of humor. Expensive but we have never been disappointed.

We requested a window seat and as it was a Thursday night thought wouldn’t be an issue. On arrival seated in the middle when three window tables free. Watched other guest arrive including a couple of lads. And they originally sat in the middle and then asked for window and were given window. Food was good but not great, the service was what let them down.

I cannot imagine ever being disappointed in this place. It has fast become my favourite restaurant having dined there twice in a month. The staff are lovely and experienced and the food - don't even know where to start than to say YUM! Would highly recommend.
