With beverage in paw, from wine to frozen cocktail slushy, we invite you to gather the pack and relax in our rustic 1960s inspired habitat, sharing and enjoying our juxtaposing modern Australian cuisine that’s made from exceptional Australian organic/ non-organic produce that’s been sniffed out by our highly trained Hounds..!

(Yeah, nah. They’re actually selected by our head chef… who insists we call him “le Hound”)

Great tucked away restaurant. Service is great & food is excellent. Large menu to choose from with discounts on different nights. Staff friendly & have a good sense of humour.

Really excited to have discovered this gem last month, went back today with another family member and was not disappointed. We shared the pork loaded fries between us which was delicious as entree then I had the salmon - beautifully cooked with tasty crispy skin. Sat outdoors this time which had lovely lively atmosphere with other tables also full but tables are not crowded or noisy; we loved the inside booth last time. Easy parking and booking online 👍

Great food, outstanding host, who is also the owner. We had a large group and the service level and food was impeccable. We will be back!

Unassuming place for dinner, looks OK from the outside, but inside is full of character and charm. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Great menu, a lot of options for Gluten Free, Vegetarian etc and they are more then happy to cater to dietary requirements. Would highly recommend booking a spot for dinner.

Fox & Hounds is the best place to get a steak in the Hornsby area. The staff are the friendliest people in the world.

Despite living in the area (Hornsby) for decades, we had not been along to this venue. Very glad to have now "discovered" The Fox & Hounds! Yes, a busy (and at capacity) Saturday evening... but the staff were attentive and responsive, even given the high workload. The food quality was very good-excellent! We will happily return!!! Fully recommended! Matthew, the maitre d', helped "make" the evening with his helpful and entertaining guidance.

Always an absolute pleasure to dine at the Fox and Hounds, because Jasmine and Matt make us feel so welcome. That's why we keep booking again and again. This is not to mention the fact the food is fabulous and there is a different price special every night, We love the ribs and wings and the Thursday steak. If you loved the Black Stump in the day, you will adore the Fox and Hounds. Tell them Jenni sent you

We had a group of 6 adults and 5 kids, and the adults and 2 oldest kids waited for over an hour for our food, which was rather disappointing. The kids' food and entrees (garlic bread and chips) didn't take as long, but more than an hour isn't ideal. And some of our steaks weren't great either, although the ribs were very tender and juicy - but I'm not sure if I'd return just for the ribs. Fish was good though. The staff were super friendly and the portions for the kids' ice-cream were generous, but tiramisu was so-so only.
