   I bought my granddaughter and her boyfriend for lunch and I hadn’t been to the Fox for over a year and the experience was super. Lovely service lovely food and we all enjoyed ourselves.

   The Fox Inn at Felpham is my favourite local pub and serves a wide range of beverages. The welcome, service, and food were excellent - all 3 of us had the Fox Pie and as always, it fiiled us up to the extent that three grown men with healthy appetites could not manage a dessert, sadly. We were even kept informed about how long the food would take to be served, and when it came, the plates were hot - just as I like it. Overall, a lovely dining out experience - we ate at 6.15pm on a Friday - the pub was busy, but the dining areas were not noisy - the bar and the dining areas are well segregated. Now looking forward to my next visit.

   Very disappointing! One of us chose a rump steak which was inedible. The meat was folded in half and was full of gristle. Very difficult to chew and impossible to eat! We were disappointed that the waiter simply said that they wouldn’t charge us for the meal that we sent back. We were given the chance to order something else by which time it was too late! Nothing knocked off the rest of the bill, no complimentary drink. Just a shrug of the shoulders! A potentially nice evening spoilt by one dreadful meal!

   Great service, very tasty food, good nut roast, lamh tasty, novel ghost roast not tried but shows versatility. Dog-friendly and nice setting, highly recommend a visit.

   2nd visit to The Fox to eat and once again it was perfect. We knew it was quiz night so we booked a table as a lot of the quizzers dine too. Staff friendly and helpful, friendly locals, lovely setting and great food. I had the Mushroom & Mascarpone lasagne with fries which was delicious and very filling. My husband had the Sea Bass which he really enjoyed but didn’t find it very filling. We will definitely be returning next time we visit the area.

   Lovely attentive but not intrusive service. Food very good and generously portioned, hard to fault, nothing not to recommend.

   The fox is a lovely restaurant, food is very good and great value, what let it down for us was the noise level, we couldn’t hear our selves talk. The level of noise is so high , those just drinking we’re making the most noise which interfered with our evening. We will return but never on a Friday or Saturday evening. The service was good. Great shame.

    The fox in felpham has great food. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere, would highly recommend.
