   Heerlijke gerechten fantastisch mooi opgemaakte borden. Een feest om hier te mogen eten. De service was ook geweldig.

   2de bezoek sinds ontdekking in maart, opnieuw uitstekend in verrassende combinaties, topsmaken en buitengewone combinatie met de wijnen ! Volgend bezoek aan London opnieuw genieten !

   I invited an old friend visiting London from Denmark to Frog for a long leisurely lunch. The endless tasting menu with added caviar course and wine pairing was ideal for the occasion with some clever and memorable canapés and a show-stopping two part main course of quail in several ways. The wine pairings were equally fun and interesting with wine selections from France, California, Australia, Italy and even London among other places. The service was impeccably attentive, discreet and attentive as required. Overall a superb meal with a price to match.

   My partner and I had a wonderful anniversary meal, opting to dine at the counter of Frog. We were fortunate enough on a Saturday night to have the main man himself Adam Handling serving at the pass, chatting through the menu with us. He was really personable, engaging and clearly driven - it was a real treat. We also very much enjoyed watching the kitchen work through the Saturday night covers, we are fascinated by that aspect of restaurants, but obviously if that's not your thing there's plenty of tables further away from the kitchen. The food was exceptional, especially the fish and roast chicken starter dishes. The wine pairing also really delivered, the sommelier was delightful and clearly passionate about the pairings. I can't really fault anything. The food (and price point) were certainly comparable with ***Michelin restaurants we've dined at, if there is one area of improvement I thought the front of house staff were perhaps not quite as slick as some of those other fine dining venues. Certainly efficient and friendly enough though! There's also a pretty decent bar downstairs, where I had a divine Margarita-Bloody Mary hybrid cocktail before our meal. So please visit and support this excellent restaurant :-)

   It seems they were trying out a load of new dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, they should have kept testing them prior to serving to paying diners. The cod and the venison were both good, but most of the others I couldn't recommend (many were fine, but not something that I'd go out of my way to mention to a friend). There were a few staff that were on their A-game, but a few key players must have been out the night we dined as there were some less than ideal moments (e.g., many empty glasses of water, awkward questions from the staff, and not replacing the cheese caviar dish when the dollop of caviar fell onto the decorative seeds that held the dish on its own - instead providing me a spoon to scoop out the caviar and spend 5 minutes picking out the seeds myself). Overall, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it to others. There are so many great restaurants out there for the same price.

   Absolutely fantastic, can't wait to come back. Every course was stunning, each with its own back story and all seasonal British ingredients. Service was excellent but not over the top. Thank you Adam and the whole team at Frog!
