                                          Came with a group of friends on a Sunday at 2:30 and all had the Sunday roast. All the options were delicious, especially the beef, and the staff were so lovely. They even brought a bowl of water over for my dog unasked for. Would definitely go back

                                          Unfirtunately, we made our reservation only an hour before our arrival and ended up sitting by the door in the bar area. Not the best ambiance. But the service and the food were very good. The menu was very clear for allergies.

                                          Very happy with the venue and the staff. Service was very efficient and friendly. Only one issue. I had pie for the main course. It came in a dish with a flaky pastry top. That’s not a pie where I come from. A pie should have shortcrust pastry all round! It was very tasty though, so shouldn’t grumble too much.

                                          The whipped Stilton starter, scallops appetizer, and venison main course were all terrific! Best meal I have had in quite a long time, and best pub food in London. Upstairs dining room (with its own bar) is cozy and comfortable. Friendly staff, nice wine selection, and prompt service. I look forward to my next visit!
