    Sadly we had a bad experience . The limited options for dairy/gluten are the reason and the lack of creative solutions.

    FABULOUS Dinner was so delicious that we returned for breakfast!!! Flounder and omelette with fried potatoes and Brussels Sprouts, cheese plate for dessert. Breakfast was again an omelette and polenta with poached eggs, spinach…everything so good!!!

    We had a delicious dinner here. At first we were worried about getting an “outdoor” table because it was a cold winter day, but the outdoor seating is actually completely covered and warm, and feels more like indoors, with a cozy and fun atmosphere. The service was excellent. I loved the fig-themed cocktails.

    Menu looked inviting. Service was fine and friendly. The cabbage roll was oversalted as was the caviar appetizer. The cheeseburger was overdone. There is minimal effort to accommodate gluten free allergens. Probably would not revisit this place.

    Always consistent and a great quality. Very fair prices for a Plaza restaurant also.

    The wife had the Crispy Panisse Cake, she it was delicious, along with the Heirloom Radishes which were fresh. I had the Wild Flounder Meunière which was grilled perfectly with the inside of the fillet very moist. Soup of the night, pepper purée was so creamy. The fig & arugula salad was so satisfyingly good. We are looking forward to the next time we go to Sonoma, because we are coming back to “the girl& the pig”.

    Girl and the Fig is always one of our favorites…. So beyond pleased that Mary is on board … she’s absolutely amazing!!!
