The Green Flash is an iconic waterfront dining establishment in Captiva, Florida. Come by boat or car, sit indoors or at one of our outdoor dockside tables for lunch or dinner service. The Green Flash serves traditional American fare with a distinct European influence. The kitchen uses only fresh ingredients, including market-fresh fish in all its from scratch dishes. The full bar provides plenty of drink options and the dining rooms and patios provide beautiful views of the water while you eat. Enjoy your meal as you watch the many pleasure and fishing boats depart and return from their excursions!

The Green Flash's menu begins with a range of starters like oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, hot flash shrimp and mussels. There are plenty of salads and soups on The Green Flash menu as well, like the grilled chicken Caesar. Larger dishes include chicken porcini and pan seared diver scallops.

Overall good. Signature entree with grouper was over baked and dry. Service and other food was good, atmosphere excellent.

Our server , Olivia was was great…..attentive and knowledgeable. We had the lobster ravioli special, the bone in veal chop & the filet. All were outstanding. Our second dinner there in a week and both were superb.

Attended the Island Hopper Music Festival. Food was great. We had the fish of the day with rice and veggies. It was cooked perfectly. Our server, Debbie, was friendly and very attentive. Only improvement would have been to adjust the sound a little bit for the female singer. It was much too loud. We commented to the music technician, but he did not make any adjustments. Perhaps some people enjoy music that is ear piercing, we do not. Overall we had a great time.

Loud. Expensive. $21 for a cocktail and over $40 for a piece of fish (small). Maybe ok for tourists but better places for locals Our waiter was attentive and nice

Love the Green Flash. Most everyone had a great meal. My lobster was overcooked for $50,but I did enjoy the wine selection. Drinks were good. Staff is friendly and helpful. We came back a second time and got appetizers and drinks at the bar to listen to music. Nice evening.

Everything was wonderful: food, ambience, killer ocean view but the service was awful. Our server actually was trying to put her hair in an elastic leaning OVER our table. She brought the wrong appetizer to our table which my husband ate anyway. There was no offer to have it complementary. Green Flash is a go-to restaurant for us. Next time, which there will be, if the service is this poor, we will tell the manager
