We are a first come first serve all day restaurant. Walk-ins of all party sizes are encouraged at any time!

Our journey started on a quiet West Village street called Carmine. Two brothers, Dave and Pete, made a bold decision. Without any business experience, any real plan, or anything resembling a thought beyond getting through the day, we opened a restaurant. What we had lacked in experience we made up for with spirit and creativity. We did not want to be businessmen. We were artists. Our little shop at 33 Carmine St. was our original canvas. We set out with a simple mission: to create a place where people would want to be. We named it after our dogs, Moose and Goose Lane. Our Flatiron location in September 2020.

Came here for brunch. First visit and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great ambience, wide selection of food and beverages. Service was pleasant and prompt.

This is our second visit here because it was so good the last time we were in NY. Staff is super kind and helpful. The server reminded me that happy hour was almost over and asked if I wanted another of the specials before it ended. This is unheard of but quite welcome!

A surprising level of quality and service, especially during Sunday brunch. We were sat next to the front door and very little effort was being made to keep it closed. This was mostly due to clueless would-be patrons who needed to figure out their next move after being told the wait time for their 4-top was 30 minutes while it was 26° outside.

Such a good spot!! Friendly and helpful wait staff; food came out quickly from kitchen and it was DELICIOUS; and fun/vibrant vibe. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in before seeing a show for brunch and had a really good meal! Solid menu and dishes came out great. Coffees/teas were excellent.

I was visting New York from Georgia & had heard so many great things about The Grey Dog ! I tried it out for myself & wow !! Worth every penny ! Going back for their happy hour !
