Friends invited me to the Grill Room for a belated Birthday luncheon. It was fabulous! We were delighted with the selections in the lunch special and our server was lovely. When they mentioned my birthday, she surprised us with beignets and beautifully decorated chocolate covered berries. I heartily recommend the Grill Room as a dining destination.

The food was amazing and the fact that you provided an oyster, chocolates, and scones on outside of what was ordered is commendable. I'm writing because our server was lackluster at best. He didn't introduce himself. I had to ask his name. All communication with our table was "matter of fact". No smiles, no conversation, no menu highlights, etc... I had to ask for lemons/limes twice. I had to ask for ground black pepper for my salad. That is a lack of etiquette in a fine dining restaurant. Outside of our experience we enjoyed the venue. I will dine there again but I will not allow that server to wait on me. If he is unhappy with his occupation, he should seek employment in a occupation where he doesn't have to interact with the public for a living.

We celebrated our first anniversary at the Grill Room and can easily say we’ve never had such a positive and delicious experience!! The staff were so friendly and professional, and made us feel so special— they even brought out some chocolate strawberries for us in celebration of our evening. The food and drinks were outstanding, and we enjoyed every single bite. It was such a lovely time, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

The setting is lovely. Staff is amazing and the food delicious. The salad is always a must for me . The lunch specials are always good. You can’t go wrong. It all depends how hungry you are!
