I absolutely loved the atmosphere at The Grounds. The decor is stunning, and the ambience makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. They’ve put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming environment. The service stood out for me. It was the perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness, which made the whole experience even better. Everything about The Grounds—from the decor to the overall vibe—felt thoughtful and inviting. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place to unwind and enjoy excellent service.

Beautiful food, fantastic coffee and amazing venue. Staff are all polite, friendly, helpful and professional and all wear perfectly matching uniforms indicating attention to detail and pride in working at this superb place- it’s like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory except with coffee.

Everything was perfect. From reservation to the ‘your table is waiting’ communication, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the venue, the presentation of the food, the details in the respectful recreation of railway dining of a bygone era, the promptness of service and the overall experience!! Cannot recommend highly enough!!

The croissants were very hard! Not soft at all. The vanilla slice was out of stock at 10 am. A bit warm croissants would be amazing. We felt it wasn’t worth the hype and the money. No wonder the coffee was amazing.

Sofia was such an excellent server! She was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely welcoming to all of us. The Roasters Room was perfect for all 9 of us and the food was amazing Just one thing, if we order extras on the side, when we get the first, we went about asking where the extras are, to be told they were coming. This is really really picky, but if we could just be told straight up next time that would be great! Thank you everyone at the coffee factory!!

The server, got our order, the same dish × 4 wrong. This is after a discussion around the make-up of the dish. Consequently a long wait for our food and soggy underdone potato scallops.

My 11yo nephew and I had a brilliant breakfast. He was fascinated by the coffee roasting process, and the staff were so kind and showed him how it all worked. Best hot chocolate ever in a Rudolf glass, and all round yummy brekkie. Staff here are some of the best in sydney. Always happy and joyful.

The food was beautiful and location is fantastic. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. It was really hard to order anything, even a bottle of water for the table. We felt abandoned by the staff. Also, the coffee I wanted wasn’t available, which was a little disappointing.
