    Beautiful setting and good food but the advertised live music was a DJ with a playlist which really didn't fit the vibe and the volume made it over-powering. It was a shame because it detracted from the overall ambience.

    We would have appreciated a wider choice of main courses. We very much disliked the presence of flies around our table. I was bitten twice. In the end we suggested that the big doors to the veranda - the obvious source of the flies - be closed. This was done immediately.

    We had a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon dining at The Grove. Staff were attentive and friendly. Courses came out in a timely manner and were delicious. Highly recommended as a different dining experience with some gorgeous views.

    Food very good, very well presented, moderate prices. Staff pleasant and performed well. Location a little out of the way but a beautiful drive and excellent views from the restaurant. Wines all local which is commendable but it does restrict the wine list a little. Overall a very pleasant experience.

    I don’t know whether we struck a bad day but we really didn’t enjoy the food. The staff and service was friendly and location brilliant but the actual food was poor in comparison.
