International Coastal Cuisine with Local Ingredients. Located on Santa Barbara's famous Stearns Wharf, the Harbor Restaurant is a 12,850-square-foot establishment on two floors that can seat 500 guests. Valet parking is available during dinner service. The restaurant features upstairs casual dining with an outdoor ocean view patio while the downstairs features a proper bar with craft cocktails, an exceptional dining room with international dishes featuring local ingredients, and two private event spaces including an 80+ person room and a private dining room for 20 guests.

                                                                        Came here to celebrate our anniversary and I have to say the location is great, the view was amazing, the ambiance is nice, the food was pretty good, however, we were a bit disappointed with the service. It took forever for the wine to come, we had to ask for a few things several times, and one of the items we ordered never came. The waiter was apologetic at the end but it did somewhat spoil our overall experience. I hope the restaurant sees this review and works on improving their customer service because it’s a really nice place.

                                                                        The views are just lovely here as well as the ambiance in the dining room. Love the lights on the tables! . The Clam Chowder was incredible. Our Petite Filet was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Wonderful salted crust. We give this place 5 Stars. We’ll be back soon.

The menu is fresh and creative, and the crab benedict was an absolute standout. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the stunning harbor views made the experience even better. A must-visit for a relaxing weekend brunch!

                                                                        Three of us had the lobster rolls. We had had them once before and they were SO much better this time. They were made with much less mayonnaise and had really big pieces of lobster! Yummy!

                                                                        The Harbor Restaurant is a place you go for the view and ambiance - for years. Food has often been just above par, in this town with many incredible choices. Therefore, for my return here to see how it is faring under new ownership, I had an open mind. The decor is gorgeous, the views unchanged. The service was attentive. But we were there on a holiday weekend Saturday at 1:30 and there were a total of 7 tables occupied. The menu was pretty good, the food was average. I would have expected that before, but the prices now being charged motivated me to write this. $19 for a bowl of clam chowder. My salad with salmon was not large, but I liked that. The greens were okay, not that fresh. The salmon that cost an additional $9, to make this salad $27, was barely 3 oz, if that. It was cooked perfectly, however, so maybe there is hope! I am a local for 50 years, and would love to come here more often, partially to support local restaurants, and also to appreciate what we have. But at these prices, even my wonderful wharf side restaurant will be low on my list. I will stay tuned to see if anything adjusts.

                                                                        Feels like a wealthy couple's vanity project that ended with lack luster food for the market. Chief should spend more time at the competition. Clam chowder: too many potatoes, best at Brophies; beet salad: poor cheese, best at San Ysidro Ranch; Arroz Socarrat: dry rice, best Paella at Loquita; Octopus: Clark's knocks this out of the park!; Bread Basket: dry unremarkable, Lucky's is much better. Restaurant was very cold, windy and 52F outside, had to eat with our jackets on. Men's restroom smelled terrible with no flush urinals.
