The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

Exceptional dining experience. Fabulous location fantastic food. Excellent service .The best Sunday lunch we have ever had. The quality of the food was second to none. The portion size was very good no room for starters or dessert . Drinks menu extensive a very reasonable. Recommend 100%.

The Hawthorn offers really good food, excellent service and a lovely quiet atmospheric ambience. Highly recommend oh and the cocktails are also excellent.

Had a really great birthday lunch at the Hawthorn. Staff were attentive and courteous, food was delicious, ambience was great. One of our favourite places to eat.

Our first visit for my birthday nice touch of a glass of fizz and a birthday card. Food was delicious service just right atmosphere was great we will definitely be going back

We had a very lovely meal at the Hawthorne last night. The food was exquisite. All four of us had no faults with anything we were served. Great cocktails and local beers too. Loved the new hot buttered rum as well. Lovely friendly service by everyone. Many thanks!

Our first time at The Hawthorn. Was a lovely restaurant. Greeted by very helpful polite staff. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Efficient and professional. Pleasant and polite. I had the flat iron Steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy skin on fries. Absolutely delicious. Couldn’t find fault. Service was very prompt. The fries were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the Burger with fries and he really enjoyed it too. Plenty of choices from the wine and beverage section. Prosecco was very nice as was the Ilkley beer. We didn’t have room for desert. Again nice choices from a traditional menu. Very nice indeed and we will definitely be returning.
