Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.

Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org.
Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each Open Table reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.

Please note that visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation. Tickets are available at huntington.org

Food not worth for what you pay for. But the experience is good. Plus you get to go inside the library and other gardens.

Great atmosphere and great service. The food is so-so, but its the atmosphere that really matters here.

Hostesses unfriendly. How come they kept giving me worse seats in the house? I reserved for standard table and not outdoor but they led me to an outdoor table at an unshaded table… it was on/off overcast but UV rays strong. So they accommodated indoors and was seated at the table next to service door. Saving grace is that the server was Friendly and food delicious. Ambience lacking because av system malfunctions

When I approached the hostess she seemed a little putout. I expected a better greeting being she is the first person you see. We were a little early and when we saw her again she was just as unpleasant as the first time . But when she showed us to our seat, and we reached the table she gave us what sounded as a general speech with a smile so it was very confusing. Out server was very pleasant from the beginning. I was happy for that..

great bubbly, sandwiches, desserts and tea; perfect service. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I would ask to keep the scones and add fruit (decrease the hard to dismiss desserts). thanks for a great bday photo! (servers are excellent photographers).

It is BEAUTIFUL at the tea house! Everything tastes divine, the service is the best, the view stunning.

Lovely service and presentation. Price is high when considering it does not include the price of admission (this is additional- and also costly). Sandwiches are mixed… not all were popular, although tiny lobster roll was delicious. Desserts tiny as are mini scones. Overall this is a wonderful day when in conjunction w the garden, but it is an expensive afternoon.
