The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    Christmas Day dinner was delicious. Hard to believe that they can maintain the quality of cuisine, service and atmosphere on such a busy day.

    Made reservations for my wife’s birthday on Christmas Day a month in advance. Asked to have roses on the table and asked for the blue room. Neither was accommodated. Seated right by the piano player, very nice addition but very loud when you sit anywhere near him. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. I was very disappointed as I also confirmed this a week prior. Had to remind the server after our desserts came to bring a candle for her birthday. Overall food was good.

    All pastas and apps were exceptional. Holiday seafood was fresh and enjoyable. Wife thought the chicken parm was mid. Specialty ribeye steak was also mid. Ribeye quality did not seem up to par. Service and overall experience were fantastic. 2nd time dining but we will continue to go back for the pastas apps and experience.

    Another successful dining experience at the Italiano. We opted for the Festival of the Fishes which was a special 5 course meal. Loaded with seafood, and other dishes..the only dish you pick is the entree. I ordered the Swordfish even to the server said it wasn’t her favorite, but out of the other 3 choices it sounded good. The description didn’t match what I received tho.. It looked like 3 rolled up breadsticks. The actual swordfish was very thin and wrapped around some ground Saleme…it didn’t look appealing at all. Would not suggest or tbe menu needs to be more clear. Everything else was very good, except the weird sticky cookie type crackers they served with the Rainbow cake for dessert.

    Food is excellent, and the server, Shawn was amazing. A great experience and looking forward to my return visit

    We were grateful to find that The Italiano was open on Christmas day! We were lucky to get a lunch time spot thru Open Table app. the restaurant is beautiful! The food was delicious and service was excellent! We had appetizers, wine, entrees and dessert! All did not disappoint! Highly recommend this restaurant!

    The food was delicious. Our waiter Gary went the extra mile to make sure our dinner experience was superb. Ended the dinner with almond cookies and Lemonciello shots ..combo just what we needed. Will come again.
