    We were put on a poorish table behind a pillar when the place was almost empty. The quality of service from the waiting staff was distinctly average and the food not as good as on our previous visits. Sadly the cost cutting to increase profitability is plain to see. Still good food and a great atmosphere!

    Lauryn was fantastic as our waitress. She was polite, friendly and helped us with our meal choices. Will definitely return.

    Gave us the sweet menu before we’d even had our food. Waited over an hour between courses. Did offer a free drink to say sorry. Restaurant was freezing cold under the air con.

    I recently dined at The Ivy Asia in Cardiff, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we encountered a bit of a wait—around 30 minutes—but the staff graciously offered us complimentary drinks, which was a lovely gesture and made the wait more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply stunning, with beautifully designed interiors that create a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting for a special occasion or a casual night out. As for the food, it did not disappoint! Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The presentation was also impressive, adding to the overall dining experience. Service was generally good, though it was clear the staff was quite busy, which is understandable given the restaurant's popularity. They remained attentive despite the hustle and bustle, and we felt well taken care of.

    Great value £20 menu. Food quality was excellent, really attentive service. Good variety of alcoholic & non alcoholic cocktails. The decor is great, the toilets are fab! Always an enjoyable experience and safe bet for great food & service.

    We were asked to leave the table after 2 hours and asked to move to the bar. All that was fine except nobody came and used our table so we could have quite clearly sat there until we were finished our drinks. So annoying

    Efficient. Food v good. Excellent v for money. But….. Meet and greet very poor. Front of house in restaurant brusque. Zero charm. Zero welcome. Zero farewells. Staff training appalling. Will I return? Probably. Service included but nobody deserved anything. Pity because investment was big.
