    Love this restaurant, eat here whenever in Cambridge. But….. yesterday’s meal could have been hotter and needed a warm plate to start with.

    Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The food is incredible. Every course was absolutely delicious, the ambience of the dining room is unfussy and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient. And Brett Graham, the chef, takes his time to come to every table, explaining the dishes and chatting to his customers all through the night. Incredible. Up there with Core and The Fat Duck as my favourite restaurants in London, and one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning. I’m already planning a return.

    3 of us at the table for breakfast - one cold breakfast arrived 40 mins before the two hots - we had to ask where the order was - was told 2 minutes and still waited another 10 - it wasn’t even busy.

    I am a regular at Ivy restaurants in London, but this weekend I popped in for dinner before going to the theatre in Cambridge. The staff were friendly but there were flies in the restaurant and constantly flying around our table. It was a very disappointing experience to have to try and keep flies off our food at the table. I was shocked and embarrassed by this.

    their oven was not working _ we were warned before dinning which was great but still something should of been done quicker or shut down the restaurant as it didn’t feel like the ivy experience we are used to.

    Limited menu as the kitchen wasn’t fully functioning which was disappointing. I’d asked for anything to be offered for friends’ birthday - noted on my reservation, but nothing was offered as has been previously. Lovely place and atmosphere but slightly disappointed.
