Good atmosphere and great cocktails Felt we were being rushed all the time I like the ivy and go there a lot , i went in a Saturday not as good as other days of the week But I would still go back , every one had a bad day

It's taken years trying to get my husband to the Ivy. Unfortunately his meal was not great. No flavour or seasoning. The most tasty item was a salsa accompanying his dish. He didn't complain because I was really looking forward to our meal out but I'll struggle to get him there again.

Love this restaurant, eat here whenever in Cambridge. But….. yesterday’s meal could have been hotter and needed a warm plate to start with.

Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The food is incredible. Every course was absolutely delicious, the ambience of the dining room is unfussy and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient. And Brett Graham, the chef, takes his time to come to every table, explaining the dishes and chatting to his customers all through the night. Incredible. Up there with Core and The Fat Duck as my favourite restaurants in London, and one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning. I’m already planning a return.

An excellent lunch - reunion with two family members from the North of England: not seen for over a year. A highly successful occasion. They had never been to an 'Ivy' before and were greatly impressed by the style and ambience. Verdict of one family member: very fine food, admirably cooked.

3 of us at the table for breakfast - one cold breakfast arrived 40 mins before the two hots - we had to ask where the order was - was told 2 minutes and still waited another 10 - it wasn’t even busy.

I am a regular at Ivy restaurants in London, but this weekend I popped in for dinner before going to the theatre in Cambridge. The staff were friendly but there were flies in the restaurant and constantly flying around our table. It was a very disappointing experience to have to try and keep flies off our food at the table. I was shocked and embarrassed by this.
