    Didn’t realise this Ivy Restaurant existed, my wife and used to frequent the original Ivy restaurant many years ago. The ambience in yesterday’s Ivy was pleasurable.

    We ordered the sausage and mash off the Heritage menu but unfortunately we did have to point out that the sausages, although cooked, were very aneamic and had no colour. We were unable to eat them all but the manager did offer to get us something else which we politely refused as we were going to the theatre. However, he gave us complimentary desserts as a kind gesture. It was all dealt with very well and acceptable. It wouldn’t stop us from going back.
