The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. Step back in time to 1917, and join us for an evening of glitz and glamour. Transport yourself back to the golden era of the Roaring Twenties when the Ivy made its debut in the heart of the West End, complete with our Taste of Winter Set Menu, with two courses for £24.95 or three for £29.95. The setting and service was wonderful. The cucumber sandwiches were really dry, like they had been made a good while before arriving. The salmon and cream cheese was tasteless. The chicken brioche was delicious. The wine was overpriced. Shame. Adding 13% service is not a good thing to do. We paid it, but I would not go again as I would be too embarrassed to remove that from the bill. The toilets were clean, but seriously 1979’s pink.😂 The decor is amazing both in the restaurant and the washrooms. The staff were polite, immaculately turned out and incredibly attentive.

After noon was lovely but had to remind them to bring our tea and also didn’t tell us that if you had more sandwiches you had to pay extra

Our recent visit to The Ivy fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were seated in the bar area at a sticky table, and no one approached us to take a drinks order while we waited for our table to be ready. When we were eventually seated, the table was wobbly — though the waitress did her best to fix it. The starters were enjoyable, but the mains lacked excitement and didn’t live up to the usual Ivy standard. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was affected by a table behind us playing videos loudly on their phones, which staff did not address. Overall, this visit didn’t measure up to our previous experiences at The Ivy, which is disappointing given their usual high standards.
