Welcome to The Jack Russell Inn. We provide luxurious and homely, dog-friendly accommodation and local food that celebrates great British produce with a focus on the conservation of the outstanding natural beauty and wildlife of our surrounding areas.                             Gorgeous village pub, superb food and drink with very kind and courteous staff. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for a place with ambience.

                            Fast becoming a favourite for a localish dinner out. The food and service at the Jack Russell were on top form as ever. A cosy and friendly pub with good food in the countryside. What more could you ask for. We brought friends from Ireland and they were impressed.

                            A stunning location with a venue to match. Nice friendly welcome from all the staff which were excellent. Was very disappointed that the game menu was not available as that is why we booked. It was fish Friday. Chose the battered hake and the John Dory special, both dishes were good. The desserts were not very good, the gin and tonic cheesecake was all gelatine, and the lemon and vodka sorbet was melting having been left on the pass to long and tasted of nothing. Although we were disappointed on this occasion we will return in the summer.

                            2nd visit this year and another excellent meal. Love the setting and ambience of the Jack Russell. Very comfortable and very good service. Try the Bloody Mary with horseradish vodka, who knew that was so good. It is not the cheapest to visit but you get what you pay for and we will definitely come back.

                            The whole experience was fantastic - the food was the best we all have had ever - the pub was super. Chef Andy came out to say hello which was fab and Debbie who looked after us for the eve was brilliant. We will be back for more xx

                            Merina was a lovely server and we enjoyed our delicious dinner at The Jack Russell very much! Perfect cocktails made by an expert bar tender and cozy ambiance added to our experience. We will definitely revisit when we can.

                            We were very disappointed overall. When we arrived we said we had a table booked but at no time were we ask what time or our name. We had to ask again after half an hour. In the restaurant only waitress was efficient. Our meal came out but we had to wait a good few minutes for the vegetables to arrive. After we had finished eating it was over ten minutes before our table was cleared and we had to ask for the dessert menu. The desserts were tepid at best. Very disappointed as this is meant to 5 stars and it is far from it. We have paid a lot less at other venues for far superior experience.
