Food was good, service wasn't the server kept forgetting our drink orders and water was hardly refilled to the point we had to order our bottle.

We booked an early reservation as we were going to a show and we needed to make sure we had enough time. We were told it would be plenty of time. It took over an hour just to get our apps and much longer than that for the mains to arrive. We kept reminding our waiter we had to leave and his responses were arrogant, glib and quite frankly rude (& he took no action whatsoever). He arrogantly told us the main act wouldn’t go on until 9:00 (vs. scheduled time at 7:30) and he was very unconcerned about our need to leave & at this point we still hadn’t gotten our mains or desserts - we ordered a prix fixe menu. Tell me how a waiter knows the timing of a show??!! Really??!! Good thing we hadn’t listened to our unbearable waiter… the show started promptly at 7:30 as scheduled. We gulped down our mains with minutes to spare and left without receiving our desserts (which the manager credited us for). Terrible experience. This waiter needs to dial down the arrogant attitude. Super annoying and disappointing experience and we won’t be back (and the food was pretty good).

I’ve now dined here a few times and can attest to their consistency of providing a great dining experience. Food has always been good, as has the service, but the manager (Victoria) really helped to make this evenings experience a pleasant one. I’d recommend The Joneses if your looking for place with solid drinks or food. It’s not too fussy and has very comfortable ambiance.

Excellent service, good selection of food and cocktails. We had some questions about the menu - all answered in a courteous helpful manner. Food was delicious - overall a great experience, happy to add to our places to eat in the city list!

This is my 4th time but the last time I’ll visit. The experience booking was not actually available and took over 30 minutes to sort out and made it seem like it was a favour. The macaroni & cheese was too salty and at the same time flavourless, the server filled only 1/2 of our water and never came back to check on us so we waited for sharing plates for 10 minutes. Overall: overpriced for mediocre food and service

The drinks were decent otherwise I was super unhappy with the service and food. It took 25 minutes for drinks to come out and over an hour before our food came out (we got a salad and a burger) and after all that wait I unfortunately had to send the burger back after a couple of bites because it just tasted of grease. There was no offer to make a new one or order something different, it was just taken off our bill. The worst part was I was on a date so felt so embarrassed to have to send it back lol. Very cool interior, so if you wanted to just go for a drink it has a nice atmosphere.
