Made a reservation for 2 people. Had to wait 15 minutes, even though there were clearly parties of 2 being seated before us. The table was located on a runway, just at the point where servers were constantly moving past you. Yes, right at the entrance to the kitchen area. There was also a lot of customer traffic as well. The night was turned around by John a manager, Sam our waiter, and the chef. A big thank you to those individuals. Do something about table management and placement.

Service and food were excellent. The overall cost of the bill was really good. Our meals came out in a timely and our server was excellent. Would highly recommend eating at the Keg St.James location.

Excellent food this is seriously the only pace they do my steak right and the sides are spectacular 10/10 would recommend

Used to love going to the keg but every time I go there now I end up disappointed. Last night I ordered a medium prime rib and I got a greyish fatty slab of meat. The medium ny strip my girlfriend ordered was grey on the outside. Service and ambiance were excellent as always.

Lightning was so dark we could not read our menu and couldn’t see our food on our plate,we don’t live in the dark ages.

The Keg on Moray/Portage is on but if you make a reservation be prepared to wait?? I know you made a reservation but yep waited 15/20 min extra, now wouldn’t be so bad but others coming in were getting seated before us, one girl (host) said when asked why she lied and said they were sitting in the lounge which would be ok if the other girl didn’t walk us by the table they just sat at ??? And another thing when someone is waiting to be seated stop standing there flicking your hair while another stretches and flexes trying to get the attention of one of the 4 just standing there it’s unprofessional.

The food quality which is usually very good was less this visit. Prime rib was 50% fat and sent back. Keg was always the place to go, but when a dinner for 2 without drinks is over 125.00, that’s too much. Every time we go, we find the prices have increased. There are lots of choices for a good quality meal at much less cost. We probably will not return.
