   Meal was excellent! The espresso martini was not good! The dessert options were hard to choose between with how delicious they all read.

   Food was delicious. Our friends are oyster lovers, were very impressed. I had blackened grouper with mushroom grits, my husband red snapper and our guests sword fish. Service was outstanding. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations and management bent over backwards to make sure your evening was above and beyond. The setting on the Ashley River is beautiful.

   Dinner was excellent - the oysters were small but tasty, the she crab soup was rich and creamy, the wahoo was flaky and delicious (especially with the mushrooms in the sauce), and squid ink pasta (nero) was very tasty. We enjoyed all of it! Oh yes and the key lime pie.... Mmmmm. We ate too much and took some leftovers home :) Service was friendly and very attentive, very nice all around. It was a little too loud it was hard to have a conversation at times but we managed. Some noise absorption would be helpful.

   Alli, Thank you so much for your 5-star review!!! I am so thrilled to hear that dinner was excellent here with us on your visit. We do rotate our oysters daily and I am so glad you found them tasty. The she-crab soup is one or newer additions to the menu. I am so glad that you enjoyed it as well. The key lime pie is house made daily and has been on our menu since the beginning. It is really excellent. We just added the strawberry swirl cheesecake to our dessert menu as well. I am so happy to hear that your service was friendly and attentive. Great food and great service go hand in hand for the exceptional dining experience.    Service was bad and food was so overpriced. The kids busing the tables were more polite than our waiter. And the food was just not good.

We just updated our menu to our spring menu with new additions such as blackened grouper with grits, snapper, lobster pasta and a few other new items.    Cocktails not my favorite but my waitress kept trying til she found a drink I loved ! Food was delicious and very filling!

   Thank you so much for your feedback. I do know some of our cocktails are seasonal and the Kingstide take on some classics. I am glad that we found a drink that you loved.    We’ve been twice in the past month- had to find our server both times. The first time, they made my pregnant daughter wait 45 mins for food (they did comp it tho) and this time, we almost got up and left because we couldn’t find our server. Prices are high but the view will cost you. Food is good- once you get it.

This is not our standard and it is unfortunate and unacceptable that you would need to wait that long or look for your server.     This was our second dinner at Kingstide, and it did not disappoint. Their wine list isn’t lengthy, but offers plenty of options. Our appetizer (the burrata with tapenade) was delicious! My hubby went with the fried seafood platter (why not?!) and it was fabulous. I had the sailfish and it was sublime. We will be back soon!!!
