Jada was excellent gave great recommendations and baby that mac and cheese was definitely hitting 10/10 highly recommended good food good vibes over all a great experience

I had a really great experience! The service by Karly was AMAZING! The food was really tasty and flavorful; the wait time was only about 20-30 minutes for everything. The music was a bit loud, however the selection of songs added to the experience; R&B and soul food go well together. Would absolutely recommend people to dine here and I will be back myself!

I’ve wanted to go to this place since I’ve always saw the food on TikTok and wanted to go and try it. I ordered the Jerk Turkey Tips with Mac and cheese and cabbage and my brother got the same thing but instead of cabbage, he got the yams. We had every intention on taking pictures of the food but the camera didn’t make it because we ate everything so FAST! Everything had full flavor. The jerk turkey tips had the perfect amount of spice. Everything thing was made like someone’s grandma was in the kitchen. It gave very much comfort food vibes. We also had margaritas. We went at 6:30 on a Wednesday and it was happy hour so we lucked out since they were half off. I got the blackberry one and he got the strawberry one. They were made very well. Our server was very nice and professional. Her name was Carly. She made sure to check on us throughout our time there. My bill was only around $95.00 because gratuity is already included but I still tipped anyways since it was a good first experience there! I will be going back.

Our reservation was at 5:30pm, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, that was fine but there’s nowhere to wait. So we were waiting to be seated with nowhere to sit and waiting is basically standing in the doorway (which we were because he made it seem like we wouldn’t be waiting long to be seated) but you’re definitely better off waiting in your car otherwise you’ll be getting hit with the door. We sat down at about 5:45pm and I asked the waitress if they had chicken, she said she would ask— she took 10 minutes “to ask.” She was serving others, taking orders for her other tables and telling us one second every time she walked by but clearly it wasn’t one second. We ordered our food at 5:55pm, we didn’t get it until 7:18pm. The food was ok, fried wings were just fried wings with too much seasoning. The jerk tips didn’t have enough meat on em. Overall I would say the best thing was the waiter we ended up getting because they switched. He was nice and tried to make the evening a good experience for us but it was too late in the game by the end he came around. Our original waitress clocked out.

All of the food was a 10/10. Lamb chops, Mac and cheese, shrimp bites, the salmon burger and turkey tips were all delectable! I ordered the Red Bottoms on State drink and it was amazing as well! It was a great experience. The staff was very attentive and entertaining. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We had a good experience at the L Station. Our waitress Karly was very knowledgeable about the menu. She checked in with us several times to confirm if everything is good.

The atmosphere was amazing food as well and our server was down to earth we will be definitely coming back overall 10/10
