Looking for a unique place to dine! Come enjoy the haunted historic Lemp Mansion. We offer a variety of dishes, from Beef Wellington to Eggplant Parmesan. Make sure to save room for a delicious Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee, our flaming desserts prepared table-side. On Sundays, we serve Family-Style Chicken Dinner, all you care to eat!
After lunch or dinner take a wander around the main floor. There are many beautiful aspects to see, from the hand painted ceiling in the Parlor to the original vault doors leading into our museum & gift shop. The Lemp mansion was originally the home of the biggest beer barons of their time.

There's a real nostalgic charm to eating at the Lemp. The restaurant had its beginnings in the 1970s and several of the dishes harken back to this bygone era and are a lot of fun to try. I liked that there was a coat check, but I loved that I got a little plastic tab to bring back for my coat. Plus, tableside Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee were entertaining, especially from the really kind staff. It won't be the best food you ever eat, but it's good food in an incredible historic setting and will make for a memorable night. Enjoy, and make sure to visit the restroom!

Went for New Years Eve with 3 other couples. Great experience & great food. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner out!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in St Louis. I LOVE the staff. They make me feel like family! And the food is AMAZING!!

We had a wonderful evening. The ambiance was the best and the service was very good. We had the Manhattan steak which was very good. I had the special which was prime rib. It was okay but the sauce was overpowering and ruined the steak. The white bean soup was excellent and the salad with Mayfair dressing was good. We will be back.

Wonderful evening. Meatloaf fantastic, Penne con Broccoli great and my husband said the white chicken chili was the best he’s ever had. We have been long time patrons of The Lemp and are so happy it’s still going strong!!

My wife + I had a belated anniversary dinner at the Lemp Mansion Restaurant last night + enjoyed our first experience there, despite the crowds + noise due to various activities going on simultaneously in the house. We were served by Makayo, who was always calm and patient despite the heavy workload. We started off with the Buffalo Chicken Salad (crispy chicken option) with blue cheese dressing, which was split into two bowls. Excellent. My wife ordered the Steak Manhattan, medium, because of the reviews she had read online + I ordered the Steak Charles, medium rare, based on Makayo's recommendation, coupled with a bottle of Benegas Malbec, which complimented the steaks nicely. The steaks arrived with very ample helpings of tasty mashed potatoes. Although there was a slight mix-up between which steak was supposed to be medium rare + which one was supposed to be medium, we found both steaks to be well worth the price. In the end, we rated the Steak Charles slightly higher than the Steak Manhattan. We were very full, but not uncomfortably stuffed, + brought some of the salad home with us + left some of the mashed potatoes because there just wasn't enough stomach room. A few comments / suggestions: 1) This was our 1st visit + it was our anniversary. While we were congratulated a few times, a simple gesture such as a single red rose on the table would have added a human touch. 2) Although the mashed potatoes were great, with this kind of meal an option such as asparagus or brussel sprouts cooked in the meat juices would have been easier on the stomach. 3) The bread provided at the beginning was nice, as well, but on the sweet side. I felt it was the kind that would have gone better with butter + jam than with meat. Overall, a great venue, ambience and meal to celebrate our anniversary.

Our Meetup group enjoyed a wonderful social event at the Lemp Mansion. As always the Sunday Chicken Dinner was abundant and delicious. The service was excellent by the hostess and the wait staff.
