We are The Local Sixty-Three! Our family-owned restaurant is focused on sustainable, seasonal, and local ingredients - dedicated to sourcing from nearby breweries, distilleries, farms, and mongers.

Our atmosphere is relaxing, and our staff will not fail to charm you. Most of our employees have been with us since we opened, and they absolutely make this place what it is today. We enjoy food and hospitality, and it shows.

We are, as much as possible, a scratch kitchen, including making our own soups, sauces, dressings, mayos, syrups, pickles, and our killer Japanese Milk Bread. We also have many vegetarian and vegan options, as well as dairy and gluten-free options as well. And our cocktails are awesome (N/A included!)

We offer dine-in, take-out, and delivery, and we can also host private parties and provide catering.

Come celebrate with us, or just come hang at the bar and grab a snack, a local craft beer or cocktail. We look forward to seeing you soon!

French Onion soup was excellent, apple-goat cheese & pepper brioche appetizer was odd but alright. Entrees were okay to good. The lamb pot pie was tasty enough but mostly just vegetables and laughably short on any lamb meat! Beer selection is good but nothing exciting considering their food menu is pretty unique & eclectic. Atmosphere is nice with subdued lighting, sparsely decorated but pleasant. A casual but generally nicer than average setting. Service was good but they also weren’t very busy for a Saturday night. My experience is typically good here with friendly attention.

Delicious meal, perfect location to eat before a show at the Palace Theater in Waterbury! Service was very good, food was fresh and well prepared.

Took my husband for lunch to celebrate his birthday. The staff was, friendly and pleasant. The food and the service was on point. I will definitely go back.

Cute spot with great potential. Food was mediocre - (dry sandwich, unseasoned fries for +$4). Service was decent. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back.

My first visit there sat at the bar. Chris makes incredible cocktails best I’ve had the food was extraordinary. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back repeatedly. Thank you for an incredible evening, Margaret.

So glad we found this gem! Everything was very tasty and thoughtfully prepared. Wait staff was attentive. Cocktail menu gave some nice choices.

Very nice find, surprised by the excellent service,get braised brisket sandwich great with cottage fries.Will be back for sure.

This is such a great restaurant. We've eaten here a number of times over the years and we've brought multiple groups of friends here and everyone's loved it. The food is always fantastic. Very solid beer list and the cocktails are amazing. The owners and the rest of the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend The Local 63.
