We were able to get a last minutes Valentine’s Day reservation. This was our first visit. Service was great and restaurant was busy but service didn’t reflect it was such a busy night. We ordered an appetizer, dinner, and dessert and coffee. All came out fast and were tasty. Variety of menu isn’t massive but good options in several categories- steak, pasta, chicken, fish. I would definitely go back for a date night.

We had a Galentines lunch for Valentines Day and it was perfect!! Definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back for date night!! 🥰

It is a great little spot on Main Street. The building has tons of character and the food is quite good.

We have gone to The Main House several times since moving to the area. The food is excellent with a very nice menu, we love both the patio and the inside dining. It’s a perfect date night place and also great to just pop in while in the area. It is one of our favorite places.

My main complaint was the temperature. I was with my 90yr old father and we were sat right inside the door. Before we even sat I asked if we could have a different table due to it being cold there. Note the dining room was approximately 3/4 empty, the hostess told me they really couldn’t be moved and we should be fine. We definitely rushed dinner and didn’t get to enjoy it as we have in the past. I’ve recommended this restaurant to numerous people as well as hosted my father’s birthday party there. Not the best experience this time.

We are never disappointed in our dining experience at the Main House. We often bring friends there and they are pleasantly surprised at the quality of each entree along with the exceptional service. There are always one or two off the menu items as well as tasty desserts. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere.

Cute place in Old St Charles. Chicken Sandwich, Chicken salad and chicken wings all good. The salad was greens and dressing - not at all exciting. The burger had a 'blob' of cheese on it (cheddar?) if it wasn't for the congealed blob- it would have been good. Service was good and friendly.

We celebrated a birthday! The server Malinda was attentive and gave us a flower less chocolate cake with a candle! Service was excellent. The food chicken sandwich salad was delicious. However it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered and due to weather we were the only two people having lunch…

Love this place!! This history of the building plus the very yummy food and wonderful staff make it a great dining experience. 2nd time eating there in a week. Sat in the bar area the first time and the dining room the 2nd. Both were enjoyable spaces.
