Third or fourth visit to this location, the first when it went by a different name. Maybe because it was Christmas Eve and very busy it impacted the experience since this was the least impressive. The best part of the evening was the service provided by “Gina L” (GiGi). She was beyond fantastic! Most of the food was acceptable. The onion soup could have been better. The broth was pretty thin and felt more like chicken soup broth. It was also lacking the loads of cheese topping, typically flowing over the edge of the bowl. Two of the guests with me ordered the pork chop. While one’s was hot, the other’s was very noticeably cold to the touch. What was even more curious was the rest of the items on the plate were warm. How’s that even happen? Gigi did take it back and have it warmed to satisfaction, but that meant one person not eating with the rest of us and finishing later. My seabass (special) was also cold, but at that point I didn’t really want to cause even more complaints since the group I was with were trying to enjoy a nice Christmas Eve experience. In addition to it being cold (or maybe because of?), it was also rather rubbery and not flaky as one would expect. Even with all the above, I’d have no issue returning if ever in town in the future. It’s not been uncommon for me to see “less than normal” experiences at many places over the holidays.

Truly wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. Food was superb and service was excellent. We will be back again.

Overall, food was very good. Filets and tenderloins were especially tasty. Lobster risotto special was an expensive disappointment.

Nice ambiance but loud. Waiter friendly but not too knowledgeable of the food items. Chicken was delicious but menu is a bit limited. I would recommend.

Wanted a last minute reservation, and on a very busy St Charles Christmas night, this was all we could get last minute. What wonderful luck! The medallions were some of the best I have ever had, anywhere! 100% on our list to visit again.

A work group of women enjoyed a lovely holiday luncheon! French onion soup, wedge salads, burger, fries, chicken sandwiches, Brussels and deviled eggs all delicious as were the festive holiday cocktails. They couldn’t be more accomodating as some if our group was running late! We likely added to the noise level as we thoroughly had a lovely, lively time! Thanks, Chip.

Everything was fantastic! It was really crowded but luckily we had reservations and were seated early! Great food and and fantastic drinks! The owner stopped by and ask us how everything was. Its on my top lists of places to go in st charles! I had the hanger steak, wedge salad, and my hubby had french onion soup, and outstanding filet ( his words) lol and the Cesar salad which was sooo good! I hope this restaurant nvr changes! Staff amazing as well!

Enjoyable evening out for dinner with my wife and kids. Really good food in a cozy restaurant with good service. Will definitely return.

We went for a late lunch during the holiday season and it was still fairly busy. Our Server was very welcoming and friendly. The inside space is beautiful with plenty of padded booths that look out over Main Street. We started a couple of old fashions which were nicely done. We then had the deviled eggs and then took the Server's recommendation on the soup of the day, a Sausage, Kale and vegetable soup. We enjoyed them both very much. For entrees, I had the Cobb Salad while my wife ordered the beef tenderloin. My salad was packed with meat and was very good and my wife really enjoyed her meal. All and all a very good meal. They also have a very nice wine list with some very good options. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
