The MAINE is a New England Brasserie with five distinct rooms, split across three floors of a converted Georgian Townhouse in the heart of Mayfair. Each room offers a unique experience, whether you are after long lunches in the outdoor garden Terrace, intimate candle-lit dinners in the vaulted Tavern, dinner and entertainment in the Brasserie or you are hosting a private event in the Drawing Room, The MAINE delivers an experience you will not soon forget. The menu boasts a range of shellfish to snails, fresh fish to bespoke steak cuts and variety of pasta, vegetarian and vegan dishes for the most diverse and discerning clientele.

    I had a reservation at 8:45 for dinner, but once I arrived at the reception, I was informed that I wouldn't be able to order any food after 9:00 pm. I was hosting friends and the lady at the reception insisted that I had to place orders on behalf of my friends, or else go to the main restaurant downstairs. When I went downstairs, I encountered the most impolite receptionist ever. I provided him with my name and reservation details, but he bluntly told me to go back up as there was no table available for me. Despite explaining that his colleague had sent me, it was the worst experience ever. I will never return to this place.I strongly advise the restaurant management to consider hiring professional staff members.

    Staff were fantastic (gentleman on the door was a little off putting though, but everyone else was very welcoming and helpful). The food was nice, nothing spectacular though the creme brule tasted amazing! Very nice cocktail selection too. Beautiful decor and decoration. Went on my birthday and had a brilliant time: would highly recommend.

    We went there for my son’s graduation and we were very happy with our table and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and large portions which was great . Music was fabulous and overall we all had a fabulous time . Thank u .😊
