   Hands down one of the best ocean front view restaurants in SD or even SoCal. We celebrated my birthday at The Marine Room this weekend. The view was amazing and the food was great. I recommend making reservation at least 2 weeks in advance so you can get good time and request for window seat so you can prime seating with the best view. They have valet parking for $15 and they only accept card! But seems like you can do street parking as well if it is available. We ordered the Peruvian Crudo, Caesar Salad and Rose Potato Leek Soup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PERUVIAN CRUDO! Flavor was amazing and the size of the bluefin tuna is very generous. Caesar salad was basic I thought it would be more flavorful based on the description, and the Potato Leek soup was pretty good too. We ordered the Bunny Slope Mocktail and a Hibiscus Drink (I can't remember the name). The Bunny Slope was almost like a horchata lol you can add your choice of alcohol to it if you want too. And the Hibiscus drink was good as well. For main entrees, we got the Grilled Swordfish and Local Bluefin Tuna Tataki. Both were really good! Then we ended with dessert with the Carmelia! That was a great dessert. One of my faves at a restaurant forsure. If you like dark chocolate and caramel, it's a must try! They also gave a complimentary cake for my birthday, it was a lavender cake. Then just enjoying dinner with the view from sunset to night was just icing on the cake. This is def a restaurant you got to try for nice dinner or celebration in SD!

   The Marine Room was a fantastic experience for us, especially celebrating our anniversary. We were able to get seated at a window table and they even surprised us with a personalized menu that said Happy Fifth Anniversary. I really appreciate the staff acknowledging my special note on the reservation. The view of the ocean was very nice and we even got to see a sea lion play around in front of our window. Overall, the food was amazing and we recommend the crudo and swordfish. Service was attentive and our server, Peter, did a great job.

   The Marine Room was hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in La Jolla. I will definitely recommend to friends visiting!

   Great experience. The swordfish was amazing, the atmosphere is second to none. An ideal date night in La Jolla. Beautiful time, couldn’t recommend it more

    The menu is pushing you towards their meat selections at $95-$283. We thought there’d be more fish selections like we saw online and we’re very disappointed for four people. Our bill came out to $691 with one drink each they’re really taking advantage of the market
