We arrived to find the Mint Bar wasn’t opened until 4 pm. The receptionist checked and there was a mistake with the booking. We were guided to the Atrium Bar which was gorgeous, the restaurant staff immediately set up the table for 8. The menu didn’t suit all of our party and the manager arranged for 2 off the menu options for them. The afternoon was perfect- the hotel was straight out of a Christmas movie. We were there until 5 pm The experience was one for memories

Really disappointed with the Mint Bar - we were expecting a 5 star experience of food and cocktails on Christmas Eve but unfortunately that was not the case. After ordering and waiting an hour and a half - we had to send our food back to the kitchen as it arrived at the table cold. Not good enough I’m afraid - do better please!

Poor service Upon arrival no one asked about our reservation. I approached a waitress to ask, who went off to check with a colleague. They discussed and the waitress then proceeded to drop orders from the bar to other customers without coming back to us. We then sat at an empty bar counter and had to wait longer to be served by the bar man. Also, the barman didn't know what bottles they had or didn't have in stock.

The service was very slow and inattentive despite the bar not being busy - there were 3 other parties in the bar Food wasn’t described properly with the lamb being more spicy than outlined. Dark lighting made it difficult to read the menus - there should be brighter lighting at tables Colcannon was served as Champ and had no flavour - spring onions and no cabbage is not colcannon For the star rating it was very disappointing

Located in the former vault of a bank the Westin took over to put the hotel in, this charming, warm, dark wood interior with vaulted ceilings has quite a spacious bar and many table scattered about with booth seating. Noted for specialty cocktails, ours did not disappoint. The menu is small and has unique takes on some items. Food was delicious but service was very, very slow -- even to get our craft cocktails.

Pre-theatre meal…..It’s always been a favourite of ours it’s intimate, atmospheric and lively! Bar choice of food quite limited so had to ask for Restaurant menu, mains arrived without 1 side which arrived after we’d finished mains. Service a bit slow but tolerable, however food was excellent and we had a nice experience.

No gluten free option - except chips!!! Overpriced for the standard of cocktail. Choice of music not in keeping with setting. Staff were nice but you got the feeling they were just the messengers.
