The Morris is a new restaurant and bar in a truly unique location. It’s connected to a boutique, 17 room colonial hotel and courtyard located right next to Washington Square Park. We have a scratch kitchen that only uses the freshest ingredients available by season. Our bar program consists of delicious hand-crafted cocktails, organic wines, selection of local beers, and spirit-free beverages. Whether it's for a casual night out, business dinner, or date night, we are so excited to serve you in our newly renovate dining room or in the garden courtyard*!

*We want to inform our guests that the courtyard is fully tented and heated throughout the winter!

    We went for brunch this past Sunday and sat in the heated tent. We've been to the Morris many times for brunch and dinner/drinks. It is one of our favorite brunch spots because we can bring our dog with us when we sit in the heated tent. It is one of the very few (if not only) spots we can dine with our dog regardless of the temps or weather. The tent is not so much a tent as it is a solarium. It is all clear which shows off the gorgeous courtyard. The food matches the ambiance. Unfussy but gorgeously creative. Hubby had the breakfast burger and I had eggs Florentine. We both had the breakfast potatoes because they are honestly the best breakfast potatoes on the planet. We love this spot!

    I like the fact that this place is hidden and secluded. Definitely in the cut. The customer service was excellent and the food was good but it also came out extremely fast. I recommend the sweet potato pancakes. Overall the experience was excellent with the ambience pricing and quality of the food

    Everything was excellent. It is a limited menu so check it before going. Prices were very reasonable, All 4 of us enjoyed our meal. It's close to the Walnut Street Theater and we received a 10% discount because we were going there.

    Ever since Chris has become the manager of the Morris restaurant, this has become our favorite place. The transformation has been remarkable. As long as Chris is there, we will continue to frequent this place and recommend it highly.

    The staff at The Morris believe in the little touches. Every detail of the setting, food, and experience feels natural. It is our favorite restaurant in Philly for both nice evenings and birthday dinners. I recommend it to anyone, for either a drink or meal.

    What a beautiful experience. The food was delicious, the staff were amazing and the ambiance was cozy. We sat outside in the heated courtyard, while it poured rain! It was so neat. I can’t wait to return.

    Had the perfect Valentine's Day dinner at the Morris! Shoutout to Becca the hostess, she made our experience so fun and kind from the moment we walked through the door! Drinks and food were delicious! We loved every bite of our meal! The service was amazing- every server and bartender were sweet, helpful, and friendly- I was I could remember everyone's names! We also stayed at the Morris House Hotel, but forgot a wine opener- No worries though because the Morris were more than happy to open our bottle for us! Would love to go again!!

    Great experience and great food. Everyone was very friendly and our server, I believe his name was Girard, was excellent. Will definitely go back
